Got a car full of kids? Or dogs? On your way home from a busy day at work? Or just don’t feel like shopping? Curbside Pickup is just what you need! Don’t even want to leave the house?
That’s OK too – our home delivery service (within 5 miles of either store) – done by your friendly Roots Market employees – is very reasonably priced!
Starting January 3, 2022, we are launching a NEW and IMPROVED Online Shopping Website!
What’s so great about the new system?
First and foremost — Roots Rewards members who shop online will now be able to get the same sale prices, promotions and coupons that they get when shopping in the store! You asked and we listened!
Roots Market employees will be handing all deliveries, and directly handing all guest support. No need to go through a third party help desk anymore!
What to expect:
Since we will be handling the orders directly now, you will be prompted to set up an account (even if you already have one through Mercato).
If you are already a Roots Rewards Member, you will need to link your online shopping account to your in-store account which is how you will receive your sale prices and promotions. Click here for instructions on linking your Rewards account.
If you are not yet a Roots Rewards member – creating your online shopping account will automatically register you for your discounts and promotional emails.
As with any new system, we may encounter a few bumps along the way – and we appreciate your patience as we work out the kinks!
Thank you to everyone who has participated in our delivery and curbside pickup program over the past couple years! We are excited to announce an upgrade to our system, and hope to make our online shopping website even easier for you and your family in 2022.

Do you deliver or have curbside pickup?
We offer both delivery and curbside pickup. You can place your order from right here. Just be sure to choose the location you prefer to shop from. You can generally get orders for pickup or delivery within a couple days. The final cost for curbside pickup is as follows to help cover the time of the employee shopping on your behalf.
$30-$50 basket – $4.99 fee
Over $50 – $100 – $9.99 fee
Over $100 to $150 – $14.99 fee
Over $150 – $19.99 fee
We are able to deliver to homes within five miles of each store. If you choose to have your groceries delivered, there is an additional delivery fee of $4.99 (0-3 miles) $9.99 (3-5 miles) depending on how far from the store you live.
Do I have to sign up on the new website, or can I log in as a guest? You CAN shop as a guest, but if you would like to take advantage of our sale prices and promotions, you will definitely want to have an account.
I am a Roots Rewards Member, are those discounts applied to online orders? YES! With the update of our shopping website, we can now offer the same benefits to Roots Rewards members that you receive in the store. How long do I have to wait to pick up my order or have it delivered? Can I just come and pick it up today? Pickup and delivery times vary depending on daily demand. We have a limited number of slots available, however, we are generally able to fill orders within a 1-3 day time frame. There are more available times for curbside pickup every day of the week, but we do have delivery slots Monday – Saturday as well.
When you complete your shopping, you will be shown the available time slots for when your order can be picked up or delivered. Orders may be placed for up to 7 days in the future. Each day more order slots will open up for 7 days out.
Can I add something to my order, or make a changes to an existing order online? Unfortunately, at this time you can’t change your order once it is completed online. You can cancel it up until the time the store team is shopping for your order.
Can I call you to add or remove items over the phone for my extra items?Yes, you can contact us at our Clarksville or Olney location and we can add or remove items over the phone. (Clarksville: 443-535-9321)(Olney: 301-774-1344)
Are there limits on the number of items or price of an order? The order minimum is $30.00. There is no limit on how large an order can be. We have seen orders of over $1,000 come through without any problem. There is also no limit on the number of items per order.
I need a refund for something missing on my order, can you do this? If you are a Roots Rewards member we can easily apply any refund to your account for your next purchase.
Can I change my delivery to a curbside pickup or curbside pickup to a delivery? Please give us a call at the Clarksville or Olney location and a team member can change the pick up option for you.
Can I reschedule or cancel my order? Orders can be cancelled for a limited time (until our teams are shopping for the items). If you need to reschedule a pick up time please call our Clarksville or Olney location.
Can I return something if I am not satisfied? Sure – bring to guest services as usual.
Can we order beer and wine in Olney? At this point beer and wine are not available for sale online.
I paid for a year of Mercato Green for discounted delivery fees? Can I still get the same delivery cost with the new system? Yes! Email us the receipt from your Mercato Green subscription showing the ending date and what delivery fee you have been paying to Mercato, and we will honor it those rates for the length of your subscription.
I don’t live in the area. Can you ship me the products to me? Unfortunately, we are not able to ship your groceries to you.
